A Relatively Informed Perspective on N. Korea

International politics are pretty far afield from what this blog is usually about, but I still think it fits under the umbrella of Quality. Most of the analyses on North Korea (at least that in the Times) has been pretty weak sauce-such and such expert assumes that such-and-such thing is happening behind the scenes. This bit from the Times struck me as the most knowledgeable assessment of the transition from Kim Jong Il to his son, so much so that I’ve got the author’s book lined up to read on my Kindle.
