Onesies

My interlocuter paired her onesie with flip-flops, while the sartorial muse has here chosen some rather conservative slip-ons.

Last night on my way home I ran across a young woman wearing a pink onesie in front of the Dream hotel; she’d just gotten in from L.A., where such apparel is all the rage, had dropped off her bags, and was heading out. I told her she was very fashion forward and we’d all be wearing them in 2, 4, or 80 years. She told me that she had them in all different colors and that I could get my own for $100 a pop.

I didn’t catch the name of her retailer, and google is giving me links to halloween stores and articles about pajamas-as-high-fashion… and that’s just not the same thing.
